Blackwell\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moral Codes: Designing Alternatives to AI <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(MIT Press, 2024).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moral Codes: Designing Alternatives to AI<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focuses on a timely topic that is causing a great deal of concern and anxiety in higher learning and in society more broadly: recent developments in AI (artificial intelligence). Blackwell\u2019s book provides an opportunity to discuss the possibility of a more equitable and beneficial approach to the design and use of AI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each month we will read and discuss one or more chapters of Moral Codes.
