{"id":51,"date":"2020-07-27T15:35:14","date_gmt":"2020-07-27T15:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cdh.rula.info\/sandbox\/?p=51"},"modified":"2020-07-27T16:10:54","modified_gmt":"2020-07-27T16:10:54","slug":"another-dhsi-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cdh.rula.info\/newsletter\/another-dhsi-post\/","title":{"rendered":"Another DHSI Post"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Alexandra Pospisil (MA) took a course in&nbsp;<em>Intersectional Feminist Digital Humanities: Theoretical, Social, and Material Engagements.&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>Alex appreciated \u201cthe opportunity to meet Digital Humanists from a variety of fields and levels of academia\u201d\u2014these included \u201carchivists, librarians, PhD and Masters students.\u201d &nbsp;Over the course of the week, Alex \u201clearned about many different tools and approaches to digital projects, including a series of principles for Digital Humanities projects\u201d and intersectional issues such as \u201cerasure, accountability, and equitability.\u201d She concludes: \u201cthe course helped me to generate many ideas for my own digital projects, especially in terms of ethics, narratives, and the potential for using census data and mapping.
